What is CJC 1295?

CJC 1295 is a naturally occurring peptide that was first discovered inside the leaves, stems, and seeds of certain plant species. While it is currently unknown the exact biological purpose of CJC 1295 in the plants, it is theorized to be used as protection in harsh environments, and to regulate decline in root growth.

CJC 1295 has the ability to work as an analogue of growth hormone releasing. It works by increasing growth hormone levels, which results in an increase of IGF-1 levels. CJC 1295 comes in two synthetic forms. One of which being CJC 1295 with DAC and the other CJC 1296 without DAC.

What does DAC stand for?

In regards to CJC 1295, DAC stands for drug affinity complex. CJC 1295 has a very short lifespan and comes with a half-life of around 30 minutes, while CJC 1295 with DAC has an acting half-life of about eight days. CJC 1295 without DAC is considered to be more natural and only shown to produce a very short pulse of GH in animal test subjects.

Functions of CJC 1295

It was concluded, after a number of scientific studies done on animal test subjects, that CJC 1295 with DAC has the ability to increase the level of protein synthesis. An increase of protein synthesis in animal test subjects could result in muscle growth as well as a boost in bone density. This was due to the way CJC 1295 encouraged increased proliferation of proteins, leading to greater production of muscular and bone cells. In animal test subjects it was found that there was an increase in bone mineral matter in every square centimeter in the test animal’s bones. With the increased production of proteins, recovery from injuries was also expected to be seen.

It was found that there was a decrease of body fat, in conjunction to the muscle gain, in the animal test subjects. This was due to CJC 1295 ability to promote lipolysis, which is the process in which lipids are broken down and the rate at which body fat is burned. Lipids that are not broken down will eventually form body fat cells.

These studies found that protein synthesis reached its peak when the test animal was in the deepest level of sleep. It was theorized that because of this, the animal test subject was able to experience an increase in deep sleep to help compensate for the increase protein production. Part of the circadian rhythm, when sleeping animal test subject’s body sees a number of increased functions. Protein synthesis is more prevalent during the sleep cycle.

What is CJC 1295 with DAC

CJC 1295 with DAC is noted for its ability to interact with two components found in animal test subjects; these are GHRH1-29 and DPP-IV. GHRH.1-29 is known to regulate activity during the release of growth hormone. It is released during the negative feedback loop part of the testing process. DPP-IV, or dipeptidyl aminopeptidase IV, is an enzyme found to be part of immune system regulation, signal transduction, as well as programmed cell death.

CJC 1295 with DAC has been found to stop DPP-IV production, which then increased the half-life of GHRH1-29. Due to this, the function of the CJC 1295 peptide in animal test subjects can increase by seven days. This in turn allows for growth hormone to have an increase in homeostasis.

What is CJC 1295 without DAC

CJC 1295 without DAC is noted for its capacity to bioconjugate with a protein serum known as albumin. This means this peptide can create a chemical bond between two biomolecules. Through research on test animals, researchers have linked this form of CJC 1295 to a peptide chain GHRH 1-29.
